Jet Planeusaf Chrome Award Model1957This si a desk top award plane given to a jet pilot in 1957. The plane is a beautiful chromed metal model. It is 9 inches long. Teh wing span approx 10 inches. It has u. S. Air force decals. The plane itself is on a movable pivot, so it can appear to clibm or fly in a horizontal stance. Including the base, it's about 6 inches high. It's in good condition. There's a minor amount of corrosion around one of the engines. There's a faint award plaque attached. It gives the name and year. Hafb 1957. The base has a mite bit of gaed patina too. After all, it's over 50 years old! It's reminesent of the chrome car ornaments of the 50's. Only this is real. On the bottom, it says it was made by the allyn sales company, manufacturers, los angeles 1, cal. Tahnks for looking! |
